Delete your account
Two ways, and both are permanent. There is no grace period, and the server finishes within minutes.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If you subscribed to Atlas, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first, or the store keeps charging you.

Deletes the account and wipes the local database and files off the phone at the same time.

Enter your email, confirm the code we send, and the deletion runs. Nothing to reinstall.

- Your profile, handle and sign-in
- Anything you published — routes, activities and collections
- Photos you uploaded, and your encrypted backup
- Rooms you created, and your membership of rooms you did not
- Follows, likes, saves, comments and ratings
- Push tokens and notification preferences
Two exceptions. A memory you wrote together with others stays with them: it passes to the next person who joined, and what you wrote is removed. Records of reports filed about you are kept until the periods in the privacy policy run out.
Anything that never left your phone — your fog, the journal, raw tracks, plans, saved places and pet conversations — was never on a server to delete. Removing the app removes those.
